This is my first build & I am wondering whether the SOTS paint set offered by DeAgostini is a worthwhile investment?

hi everyone , first post i bought the the paint set also , what is really good about them is they dry very quickly and any type of glue will stick to them well most of all there are a couple of choices of colours to paint things and at 2 quid a tub its not expensive , i painted the whole hull ivory with less than one tub

Hello there out of curiosity I asked model space USA if they will be getting the paint set for the SOTS and they replied that they have no plans at this time to be introducing the paint set for the SOTS, but then on the forum I find out it is available in model space England, so is there a way I can get the paint set for the SOTS in the U.S. thank you Ronald

You may have to look for suitable substitutes available in your own neck of the woods. This of course is just my opinion.... Regards Alan

Its not as simple as shipping our paint from one country to another., there are very strict regulations on such, which can be a costly process to meet to be able to put it on sale.
The exact same paint set is available via this UK outlet who may ship to the USA http://www.cornwallmodel...miralty_paint_sets.html
Or you could contact our International shipping team internationalshipping@model-space.co.uk

I ordered the paint set from Cornwall. Being new to this, I didn't want to take a chance on trying to figure out what the equivalent colors would be here in the U.S. They did ship to the U.S., and it wasn't terribly unreasonable. With shipping it was a little short of $50 US total. And I agree with the others, the paints are really easy to work with and look great. Sounds like very reasonable shipping and I use them a lot and have wonderful service from them. Happy Modelling
