HI lads.
I have been steaming away with the lower hull planking which I am delighted to say I have completed. This is my first build so I was thinking so far so good as its taken a whole year for me to get to this stage. I have attempted issue thirty today which deals with the gallery panels which seem to fit fine. My problem is with the reinforcement panels. I have cut them all to size and have fitted them. The problem I have is the large set on both sides of the hull. They fit perfect in the ribs but there is a gap at the bottom where they dont sit flush on the deck. When constructing the ship I was very careful to make sure all the ribs were pushed down completly and they were. There does seem to be a slope in the deck at the back which is causing the gap to show but I thought I read somewhere tjat there is supposed to be a gradual slope in the deck. I am really worried now that I have screwed up. If anyone can give me advise here I would be very gratefull. I realise that this part wont be seen as the planking covers it but I am worried the rest of the model might be thrown out. Please help if you can. Disressed neon
