It looks great. My build is collecting dust. Then I lost my password to lock in the forum and the results is obvious. I am collecting issues but too lazy to continue. I have othe projects that also need my attention. "Rather try and fail than had failed to try".Sovereign of the Seas Model Space forum: Marcel's build

I have othe projects that also need my attention. Hi Marcel Thanks for looking in and the compliment. I keep going with the planking as I receive my issues. I need to do a lot of work on the launch. You must make time to continue the build, I'm feeling lonely in SA! Regards Kobus

I haven't had some time with my build for the last two weeks, , due to work constraints! Received my next four issues yesterday, and my rotary tool free gift! What a nice compact toolkit! Thanks De Agostini! Kobus

Hi all A month since the last update! I completed the bottom half of the hull planking, happy with the outcome. I fitted the aftcastle pieces and the dummy support beams. I bought myself the Proxxon FET saw and replaced the supplied 1.5 mm blade with a 0.5 mm tungsten blade for the fine cuts. I also got the Proxxon MF 70 miller. I started playing around with the gratings as most of the people said that the 2 mm supplied gratings looks out of scale. I milled some 1 mm maple planks with 1 mm spacings. My first attempt of the gratings! . Still some practise required. Happy building all Kobus

Regards delboy271155 (Derek) Hi Derek Thanks for looking in and the nice comments, much appreciated. As a lot of material is not readily available in South Africa, I decided to take the plunge and cut/make my own. Regards Kobus

The progress was very slow during the last month, but as it was already said, this is not a race! The Proxxon tools are so handy, I must be careful that I play too much with it and not doing any building work! Regards Kobus
