As mentioned a little while ago, I came across something in my loft that sparked my attention

Something I hadn't put together in a long long time

The classic Lego Technic set 8880 from 1994!Cool

Now I have a few set in my loft, 4x4 off roader, moto x bike, car transporter, space shuttle, mini jcb, and artic lorry cab to name but a few

When I was younger Lego and technic is mostly what I played with, just loved the simplicity of how it all worked and the limitless possibilities there were to it!

I tried meccano, air fix, k'nex but nothing really gave me my fix like Lego!

It was quite good putting this kit together, organising the pieces making them easy to find while following the instructions, it took me back a few years!
The dust was ridiculous, as seen below, but as this is a complete plastic kit, a little wash over with the shower head and it'll be as good as new

Of the 2 vehicles I obviosly opted to build the F1 car (the other option being a V8 4x4 2 seater coupe details images here)

There where a few extra pieces left over as this is the smaller build of the two, and as when I was younger, I used them to add a little more colour to the car BigGrin

So after a few hours over a couple of nights, I give you.....

The Technic 8880 F1, with some Heinzy colour add ins!

Suppose a holiday isn't bad!
My little girl likes duplo, too young for lego at the moment!

I've got that space shuttle, the 2nd model in the kit is a submarine! That's the only kit of mine without the box Blushing
