Cool bucket Alan. You could half fill it with clear epoxy to resemble water.

Thanks Tom, now there's a thought, didn't think of clear epoxy for water... Cool This bucket was just an experiment, buckets for this era would I believe have been pretty rough looking items and that was what I was trying to achieve.... Think I got there in end...Cool Cool .. Thanks again for looking in...

Regards

Alan

Had a bit more fun and had a go at painting my very first figurine.... Found the scale very small and am sure I will get better with practice but feel happy with to have the first one done....Cool Cool .. Have to think of a way of getting some of the facial features perfected but at this scale its not going to be easy....Blink Blink .. Here's the pics, warts and all.....

Happy building all..

BigGrin Hi Alan
nice work on the bling, as for figure painting your doing ok with practice as in all things they will get better I usaly find that the smaller the figure less is best or don't try to add to much detail. Hope this helps and dousnt hinder

Thanks Andy, appreciate the advice... For a first attempt I'd give myself around 4 out of 10 and as in all things we all have to start somewhere... Loved the experience of it though..... Cool Cool

Thanks again

Hi Alan, very nice work, the figure looks great - with 1/72 figures or smaller I generally don't attempt to paint any facial features, a flesh wash usually brings out enough detail to look good.

Thanks Stevie, some of the detail was fun to do but in reality I found you can hardly see it with the naked eye so yes, lesson learnt, keep it simple....Cool Cool

Thanks again
