Hi All,BigGrin

Could someone tell me if there is a means/site that helps identify a type of wood by colour?

Reason I ask, is because I need to purchase some wood to make two parts for a dio.

I need something as close as possible to the surround of the base shown in the picture below.Confused



This picture shows the wood in it`s best colour in a photo that I have.

So, any advise available would be very nice.

Thanks for that info.

For the small amount of wood I need the stain idea will be best, but the wood guide has pointed me in the right direction for the colour.
