Mike

Always keeping an eye on your build and it's looking wonderful.

Hope you do not mind me asking but the windows in your upgrade kit are they etched or wood ( only asking because they look so fine)

Enjoy your building

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Tony, thank you for your positive commentsBigGrin The windows in the Gallery enhancement are lasered out of the plywood using a fantastic brand new process, you are right the windows are supper fine (less than 0.3mm ) which is required to replicate the scaleBigGrin Thanks for your interest and I hope I have answered your question okLove Kind regards Mike

PAINTING THE GALLERY ADORNMENTS

The prince of wales plume and lances plus flags have been painted, from pictures of how the Victory looks today. (VICTORY 1765) And not copied off someone else`s interpretation, of what she should look like.
It is very important to me as I build the Gallery Enhancement that it is as accurate as possible.

I hope you like the photos, questions and comments are welcome kind regards Mike

Hi Mike,
Absolutely fantastic painting on the emblem, you have a good eye...and hand for that matterBigGrin
Just an observation, the little piece of flag below the left cannon is supposed to be red/white as its part of the ensign - wouldnt normally have mentioned it but as its you I though you would appreciate itLOL

Makes me want to re-paint mine now as my new kolinsky sable 5 and 10 zero brushes arrived todayBigGrin

Fantastic work Mike Drool

Just a little sub note:
There has been many a discussion over the years as to whether Victory sported the Prince of Wales feathers on the stern emblem at the time of Trafalgar, some opting for a crown instead.
But most, including myself, have gone with the P of W feathers.

Great work once again ThumpUp

Hi Mike
Fantastic workmanship on the Prince of Wales feathers. Your transom board is going to look absolutely stunning once its mounted. Was it difficult to adapt it so that it sat correctly over the PE?
Happy building
