Hello Everyone, i loved building my previous Nitro Buggies and i have always dreamed of an F1 syle nitro car so i am over the moon to see this, sadly i am in a few different countries right now but i can see this as being an advantage to me in some way.
so i have a few questions :)
If i subscribe now and then say in a years time when i get back home i have a heap pile of parts :) if say a part in issue 3 was broken or missing will it still be easy for me to get a replacement even tho it was sent to me a year ago?
Looking through the build logs, great logs btw but whats that tool you used to measure the track rods in issue 29 of the Mark webber build, that would make my life so much easier even on my current nitro buggies
thirdly i have a preference over the Controller and prefer the Stick method along with the 5ghz digital receivers, are am guessing the receiver your using the 2.4 is a standard size and i could just swap these out with mine?
and finally the steering servo is this metal gearing as i found with my previous buggies where not standard metal gearing and where wrecked after a fair few runs :)
oh one final thought, has anyone completed the model yet? and how strong is the back wing connected i have a GoPro camera that i would love to attach to the back/front wing and other various places to get some cool shots somehow for this i may get spare front n rear wings for this how easy are they to swap out? and are the strong enough to hold the extra weight?
cheers again i cant wait to get home in a years time and see piles of boxes ready to start building :D :D

Hi Zikofski Firstly welcome to the forum and don't be afraid to ask questions that's what were here for. Il try to answer your question's all broken damaged parts are replaced so no worry's there. The tool your asking about is called a Digital Vernier Guage/Calliper with internal/external measuring they are redily available on e-bay or from tool shops. The R/C gear provided would I think be of standard size and easily swopped to your preferred controller receiver set up. As for the gears they would probably be of the standard nylon type but again swapping the unit or gears will be easy enough Hope this helps regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Tomick, thank you for the welcome - I have been reading the first 4 stages in readiness to start when the kit arrives and also your previous posts - I have a question - will the washers referred to in previous post regarding the front shock absorber assembly come with the new RB7 Vettal car or will it be sent out separately - just be nice to avoid draining oil if I can plan not to Thanks Chief

Regards Spence Hi Spence, i have not built a model since Airfix as a kid but I will try to keep a note of my progress as a newbie - I am not looking forward to the helmet decals having read the Webber diary build but with the right tools and the support of the stage notes and Model Space build diary I am feeling well prepared Regards Andy T
