Hi All,BigGrin

Have just purchased these in my local Tesco for use on my Victory build.

They come in boxes of 25 for about £2.50 a box.

Two boxes will make 33 clamps and leave you with some spare springs.

These are binder clips originally but with a couple of minutes of your time turn into miniature planking clamps.

This is what you get (and yes there`s the penny shot)Pic 1

Three binder clips make two clamps (plus one spare spring)

Remove both wire arms from one clip (one shown)Pic 2

Place the wire arm inside the top of a complete clip and a clip becomes a clamp.Pic 3

How it works. Great when planking the unsupported rib sections.Pic 4

Hope this is useful.

Hi Jase,Cool Cool Cool

Even better, nice find.

Only problem I would have, is cost of diesel to nearest ASDA would outweigh
the savings, but it does give people a choice.

To improve the grip, use your needle file to roughen the "lips" of the clamps. I use them on my Sots and it works like a charm.
