Hi All Today I did the helmet lining and sweat band and then added the neck guard to the helmet. Be carefull when fitting the sweat band to the helmet as a good deal of streching and pulling is needed to get it in place. It looks the biz when its done though. Hi All Finally caught up with this build and this months issue is now due but here's some pic's on progress. The two tassets have been made up and attached now and the guard pad has been added. Hi Karl Thanks for your comments and looking in , unfortunately the colour of the laces are from the suit of armour the kit is based on so not much I can do about it also the flash bleaches the blue ribbon so it seams much lighter than it is in real life regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All Made up another full Tasset and fitted it then the half Tasset provided this month that just leaved one and a half Tasset's left. The rest of the beard/mostache has now been added and the face mask retaining cord added. Something new this month its the start of the gauntlets these provide protection for the hands and forearms these consist of metal plates joined by chain mail that I presume will be added to a cloth backing of some description. Hi All Some progress on the armour as I have been a little busy on other projects. I have made up the shoulder plates wrist and hand guards conecting them with the chain mail suplied. The chain mail when I had it delivered had lost a couple of rings by streching on the mounting board not a big problem to fix and easily remidyied, a tip here would be to check over the rings and close any that have spread in transit.
