Stevie: all of the wiring and plumbing is supplied with the kit-I only painted the gearbox and added carbon fiber texture decals to the chassis tub and some other detail decals from Museum collection. This is a fantastic kit to build, challenging but very rewarding so far. the chassis is almost finished, then onto the gorgeous painted bodywork.

Hi Eagle, It looks great. You've done a really nice job.I would love to have built this one myself but it's abit expensive for me.Is there 80 issues at £10 a go? I did build the McLaren which turned out great but in total (with the display case & afew replacement issues) it cost me nearly £800. I will follow your build with great interest though. Stu.

While doing photo research I realized the Museum Collection decal sheet provides for steering wheel stitching, so that was today's project- the Senna figure has moveable arms and head so here is posed with a 'victory wave' and head turned to the right. Look closely and you can see the dash switch labels, rocker and dial switches and carbon fiber texture on the chassis tub side and top. Thanks again to DeAgostini for providing the opportunity to build this amazing model kit

Added machined aluminum tire valves from RB Motion today, these are gorgeous! Also in shipment are an assortment of machined hex bolts and nuts for possible replacement of the phillips screws for the suspension mount points.

A quick question... do the brake discs turn inside the calipers, or is the fit a little too snug?

The brake discs DO turn, as part of there build process the instructions recommend using a temporary paper shim to properly position the caliper to rotor distances.

Here is the link to RB Motion item #1628 1/8th scale tire valve stem: http://www.rbmotion.com/...th=96&product_id=92
You must either drill the factory wheel or shorten the RB Motion part to fit the wheel indentation.

Hi again, I'm so glad someone asked the question .. I didn't know that the cabling etc came with the kit etc so that's rid me of a certain area of doubt :) Those tyre valves are pretty neat. RB Motion's site bookmarked ! I don't know whether we'll be offered the Senna figure here in the UK but, if not, I'll see if I can track one down. There is sooo much detail missing from the finished kit!
Top studio detail set (which i have) for the 1/20 realy put this in its place, although a great piece, which I am subbed to,it lacks loads of stuff.
loadsa room for detailing as pointed out many a time. :)
