Hi all as I've been informed, GI Joe, Barbie, Ken and Action Man are all 1/6 so I decided to use them But I wondered if I could have made them, and how long they would have taken so,,,,
Half hour on my fret saw and 10 mins with my multi drill and I got this.

so I think I could build one given a day or two (of course the head would take a while longer)

Hi all thanks dave the kit almost falls together steve I can get a ken from barbie and ken for 5.89 and I've ordered a set of leathers from china for 5.99 so they are on their way.
anyway first disappointing bit of the kit, The tank is a terrible fit, lots of filling, it stands out more as the rest of the kit is such a good fit.

anyway back to the great fit of everything else, I have weathered the engine a bit, I dont want to weather this one much as I want it to look well cared for however the CB 750 willl be heavily weathered and have lots of broken bits.

Just to emphasise just how big this is that Virago is the same size engine as this one

Crikey Ken, you don't hang about when you start a model do you!!? Huh Blink Cool

You're doing a good job on this one and I've noticed that your bike builds are usually amongst your best - is it your favourite genre by any chance?

Well done Ken, looking good and I do like the two-toned frame - something different and it seems to work quite well! Cool ThumpUp

Thanks kev not my favourite genre but I've ridden them all my life and I do love bikes, ive owned some real collectors bikes in my time, but they weren't collectors bikes at the time, if only I could go back in time knowing then what I know now.

Thanks Steve, really peed off sprayed the tank, had it glued to piece of stick layed it on my table hanging over the end to dry came home dinner time and it had fell off the stick and onto the carpet, (insert swear words here)
hope a coat of varnish will hide it, what do you think.

Really looking good Ken, the paint effect is very niceBigGrin I cant really see the problem with the "Tank vs carpet" but if its just a bit of paint damage then perhaps a gentle rub with fine micromesh may smooth it out.
