Atarted building the SotS today with build 1. Will have pictures coming. Only problem found as there were only three blocks for the cannon stage 1.

Looks like you are off to a nice start, well done.... .. With the pics, if you resize them before uploading to around 600 x 450 pixels they will appears as pictures on your thread, this saves members having to download each photo to have look..... ... Hope this helps. Regards Alan

This is the first wooden model that I build and am excited to be taking on this build. One thing O have already noticed is that it seems more fulfilling working with the wooden model over a plastic one.

Hi, looks like you are making some very nice progress there so well done. Couple of things, you need to have another look at your anchor. The stock needs a little more shape to it but you also have the orientation of the anchor flukes facing the wrong way. The flukes should be set at 90 degrees to the stock and not running parallel as you have it at present. Launch looks good, do be very careful when it comes to fairing those ribs they are very delicate and easily broken. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next update. Regards Alan
