This is my Entry for the Model of the year 2016. I am doing a small display of The USAF Thunderbirds. Hope you like it when finished.  On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

I have seen these egg planes over the years but never managed to get my hands on one. They look great fun and i hope you get the same from building them. Happy Modelling

I love eggplanes. I had the space shuttle one and it was a lot of fun to build

I've only built and egg ship and it was great fun to build, I'm sure the planes will be equally as fun too Good luck

Very nice Chris, I didn't realise you would be building three of them when you announced your entry the other day? This will look very cool as a display piece when finished, well done!! 
Maybe you should buy one of those handmade wicker bowls to use as a base .... then you can "keep all of your eggs in one basket"?!

I remember reading somewhere a while back that Vallejo had made a special paint just for these 'Thunderbird' F-16s eggplanes..... I think it was called 'Egg White', but be careful when stirring it as it does tend to fluff up a bit!!
