Hi All,

I am really looking forward to this build and have had to stretch to afford it, as I am still building both MF & R2D2, so I was a bit disappointed when the first box of parts arrived !

I have just signed up to TB-2 over 12 months so was expecting to get around 6 or 7 packs each month ?

But in my first delivery it only contained two packs marked as second & third parts plus a few loose bits (Top & Bottom of nose cone plus a small plastic bag of bits ?

Is that correct Confused Surely this is what you get if you sign up for 24 months Confused

I know the first month is discounted to only £9.99 from £89.99 for the 12 month subscription, but it looks like that is mainly because you only appear to get half the packs you expect ?

Seems strange.

My first pack was 1, 2, 3 & 4, all 'bubble packs' as you would see in the shops.
Certainly no loose bits or plastic bags.

The pack content schedule for 12 and 24 months is noted on the TB2 web page (same location as the instructions) http://www.model-space.c...-the-thunderbird-2.html in PDF format behind "The Build" tab.
Pack 1 contains 4 stages of parts as noted in the official build as its a special start price pack.

How strange ?

Well I will try to add a couple of photos to this post that I've just taken, hopefully you will see issues 2 & 3 are fine, but 1 & 4 are just a collection of loose bits Confused

In the bag are some very small figures which I think come in issue 4 and the loose top part of the nose cone comes from pack 1, but I have no idea if I have all the bits I should have.

Not the best start...

I had the same thing, with most of the parts from 1 and 4 in a plastic bag and the upper and lower halves of the nose loose. But I built it yesterday and everything was fine. Nothing missing or broken.

Good to hear everything was there JohnC.

However, this is a bit of a concern if future deliveries are going to come so poorly packaged !

I mean there was absolutely nothing protecting the nose cone pieces from getting damaged in transit, they were just rattling around loose in the cardboard box !

And especially considering how much as we are paying for them !

I will layout all the parts this evening to double check if anything is missing this evening. I was hoping to finish building the Millenium Falcon before starting TB-2, I only have two more deliveries to go.

Has anyone got a picture of all the parts as they should come for Pts 1 & 4 ?

Take a look at the official build photos for Stages 1-4.

The official builds always show the parts contained per Stage and Pack, also the instructions show what is contained per Stage/Pack BigGrin

Its hard to see what is in the plastic bags but it does look like all the parts are there.

As Tom has pointed instructions contain a full list of parts supplied with the pack. Its always good to check your parts off against this list before starting assembly to ensure you have everything.

If there is anything missing customer services will be more than happy to replace them.

Its Pack 2 of the 12 and 24 month.

The 24 month delivery is delivered bi monthly and the content being identical to the 12 month. See my reply at post #4 to your question at post #1 regarding Pack content/sequence.

Generally 1 month after receiving Pack 1, obviously this varies from customer to customer depending on when Pack 1 was received.
