Hi Everyone, I saw this one when it came out in the U.K. earlier this year and knew I would have to get it if I ever got a chance. Well, I saw an add for it here in the U.S. a couple of weeks ago and jumped right on it. I received the first two issues with my first shipment. In Issue #1, we get the back end of the DeLorean including a taillight, bumper and the icon " Outatime" license plate. In Issue #2, we get the other taillight and a front fender. There are several different screws for this build, so i got myself an weekly pill container at the Dollar Store to safely store everything. I also picked up some detailing towels to use for this build and for storing completed parts. The parts seem to be of good quality and the build seems to be pretty straight forward. Not really much to paint or construct on this one, so the build should be fairly easy compared to the Millennium Falcon where I had to paint every part. Here are a few photos of the progress so far. Thank you for looking in, Steve and Phil. Should be a fun build. Don't have much to show off yet, but will post again after the next shipment. Steve - Since you are further along on this, have you encountered any issue with the kit that I should be careful of? I saw one guy on Youtube who had a wheel break of due to a rather flimsy linkage between the front wheel and the chassis. Just want to avoid any problems. I think as long as you are careful you will be OK. When you put the screws for the wheels eg. Don't take the screw down in one go. Turn it down a couple of turns and reverse back. You will find easier.any problems don't be afraid to ask. There are some clever modellers on here with good advice and will share with you.

Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a great holiday break. I know I was quite busy and didn't have a lot of time for modeling. Now, with everything getting back to normal, I will try to catch you up with my many builds. In the second shipment of parts for the DeLorean, we get issues 3-6. Issue 3 has us building our first wheel. The assembly was pretty straight forward. The rim feeds through the tire and the hubcap is secured with 3 screws. The hub and a small washer are then pressed into the center of the hubcap to complete the assembly. scraperjawa attached the following image(s): Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

In issue 4, we get the the Mr. Fusion and the reactor disc. The reactor assembly was fairly easy. A few screws to hold everything together. Mr. Fusion took a bit more work, but wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. There were a couple of very tiny springs to add to the hinge at the end, but tat wasn't too difficult. Then, I decided to fill in the screw holes on Mr. Fusion and that is where it went all wrong. I wound up ruining the wording on that side of the piece and was unable to fix it. I decided to contact Eaglemoss and try to purchase another Issue 4. I explained to their rep what had happened and offered to pay for a new issue. They were very gracious and said they would send out a new issue 4 at no charge. I must say that I was very impressed with their customer service after hearing so many bad things about them. scraperjawa attached the following image(s): Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

The tie head is attached and the disc braked and caliper are assembled. Finally, the brake assembly os attached to the suspension assembly. scraperjawa attached the following image(s): Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

Thanks Phil for looking in. In issue 7, we get parts for the steering rack, linkage and front plate. Assembly involves connecting the pinion and pull rod to the steering rack with a couple of screws. The rubber boots are then added on either end to complete the assembly. The first picture shows the parts that come with the issue along with my growing screw collection. The second picture shows the assembled steering rack along with the front plate which will be used in later issues. scraperjawa attached the following image(s): Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

In issue 10, we get the full frame piece and a wide variety of screws. The assembly on this issue begins with adding the wheel hub assemblies from issues 5 and 6 to the front of the main frame. Then, the front plate and steering rack are added. A bit of finessing was required to get everything to operate smoothly. Once I had all the screws adjusted correctly, the bottom plate was attached to the underside of the front plate. The anti-roll bar was then added to the frame and finally the front wheels were attached. I was very happy with how this came out and you can really get a feel for the size of the DeLorean at this point. In issue 11, we get the the engine support and connecting rods for the rear section of the frame. Assembly involves attaching the connecting rods to the engine support. The engine support piece has two other pieces that attach to either end. The entire assembly is then attached to the underside of the rear frame. scraperjawa attached the following image(s): Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean
