Cook 250 - Endeavour cannon build competition entry This will be my "Cook 250" diary. I'm still awaiting for my cannon to arrive but I tough that I gonna create my entry anyway. Don't have any experience with cannons  (I haven't even touch cannons for my San Francisco) so this is going to be more like a practice build.  I have a few ideas but because I'm going on holiday for two weeks in June it must be something simple. The gun itself does not represent too much and needs some environment. First I had plans to sink the cannon and do a little diorama then to do cross section below the deck but I think I will goo with option of the section of Endeavour main deck and I'll add some details (similar to Derek's proposal) That's the plan but it all might change when I see the cannon as I'm not really sure what to expect  In case I will miss someone's competition entry, from here I want to wish best of luck and great fun to all participants with their entries!!!!! Thank you all! I received my cannon today and... I don't know why but I was expecting something bigger Judging size of the envelope I'll be able to slip in to my pocket while going on holidays  My plan is to make section of Endeavour deck marked on the picture below. I have not decided yet about rigging the cannon.  Busy weekend ahead! Again God luck to all participants! Regards, Arek

Hi all! It looks like I'm the first to share progress! Today I only cleaned up the parts and dry fitted just to see the scale. Looks like it will be a veeery small build but full of fun.
