Anyone in Manchester on August 29th (Bank Holiday Monday) will be enjoying the great noise that is an F1 engine screaming down the road. Jenson will be racing through the streets, so anyone nearby - please take a camera & post a few picturesCool

I will be there with my 3.5 year old son, he loves the F1 and this is much better than taking him to a full race.

I'll be there too. Only live 6 stops on train away. My 6 will love it. Its a real opertunity too see a f1 car going. Its too expensive too go to a race. So this is a once in a lifetime chance to see it.

What a fantastic afternoon, my son was over the moon shouting for Jenson before he came out. Then the car went past and buzzed his ears, he was quiet after that. We were about half way down the run right where he had to brake for the pit area so got a few great fast passes 1 run in particular was really loud compared to the others.

Another good thing, the car was our build aswell.

So what happened at the end, did he touch a barrier or stall it, did anyone see?

Got into the VIP area for a while but was ram packed and the cars in there were only dummies.

And Jenson, What a guy, grinning his head off in the safety car and MP4-12C to test the track.

I watched a video of that incident. I think he tipped the barrier and decided for safety to walk the rest of the way I case he had damaged something on it. We was only 100yrds from pit area too. Lol.

I have my pics on my Facebook but haven't managed to put on here yet will in a bit. Just oacking for our camping trip lol.
