Well i bit the bullet and ordered the Endevours lifeboat. a good first time boat and with some relevance to me given Captain Cooks history with New Zealand. Ordered and paid on Monday and the model arrived with me this morning at work.did a quick look through the box and will commence after i have got a few tools together probably this weekend. One tip, if you resize you pics so the file size is less than 140kb they will appear in your post without people having to download them. Thanks for that. I did read it but I don't have a pic editor on my work pc so just used irfanview. Will do most of the pics etc at home so should be able to reduce the size Current builds HMS Victory Endeavour longboat

Thanks David as you can see i got it sorted interesting the price spread on this kit Model space (not available as out of stock) are 50 pds + 100 pds freight works out at about $300nz 1 local supplier was $106 + $6 freight which is the one i got another local supplier was $120 + $15 frieght another was $135 + $11 freight pays to look around sometimes Erik Current builds HMS Victory Endeavour longboat

weekend is nearly upon me and i will be making a start. got some bits and pieces to pick up in the morning then usual house related stuff during the day and will commence in the evening.i have been reading the instructions and have done a browse through the build diaries to see who has done this in the past and MWGs diary is a good one so will use that as alternate source of pics and inspiration.Wife is not that happy with me taking over teh dining room table but i dont have a mancave so it is what it is Current builds HMS Victory Endeavour longboat

Good luck with the build , I have the same issue as I build on the kitchen table. Just make sure it's well covered and use a cutting mat Martyn Building ? Completed. Soliei Royal . Opened the box to make a start and while removing the plastic shrink wrap saw a broken piece. Hmmmm took the rest of the piece out and glued it back together will see how that goes. Erik A attached the following image(s): Current builds HMS Victory Endeavour longboat
