Hi All, So after finding out that we will not be offered the inter tyre's I've been doing a bit of research and asking my friends in Japan if they can help me out. Well I've secured myself a set of these tyre's, what I will say is, it wasn't cheap. I actually don't want to disclose what I spent to get these tyre's! But IMO it will be worth it. Now, I'm open to advising people on how to get these the way I got my set, but I've just been speaking to my friend, Tuck, in Japan. He can possibly get another set to me... Now I know people on this forum would love a set of these tyres, and, if he manages to get his hands on some, I will be looking to sell. So first off, who's interested? To make it fair, I will put them on ebay and let you all bid on the tyre's, that's obviously providing Tuck can secure a set for me. Let me also say, these will be so much cheaper than what I spent on getting my first set, trust me. As part of the deal I also got a 1:8 Lewis Hamilton Helmet the Japanese guys were supplied with, so Im planning on making replica's of that and selling for a small price, please note it will be blank with no decals, but I know many of you will already have these decals. Let me know your thoughts etc. Danny Building the McLaren MP4-23

Hi Senna Just a thought, why not let everyone who is interested in the Tyres have a set at the price you can buy them at(they will have to pay a deposit) ship them as one lot (everyone shares the cost of the shipping) when it reaches your home you obtain the money from all members who have ordered, together with postage and packing, and send the Tyres out to them by post, you put a small handling charge for yourself to cover your time. This way everyone wins, and is in the true spirit of the forum, this is the way I treat the enhancments I have sourced. What do you think? Regards Mike Hi Mike, It's a brilliant idea, but they're not as easy as you say to come across. I came across two sets by chance. I've tried to get more sets for you fellas here but my contact is not coming up trumps at all. Sorry guys! Danny Building the McLaren MP4-23

wow they look awesome, im very jelous as im sure everyone will be. looked at your helmet from japan also and it does look abit cheap. considering an awesome model all the gifts i think are abit lame with exception to the wet tyres. the steering wheel was a let down, very cheap and NON-weighty, the keyring fell apart in two days and the hat, well its just a hat, and the binder is only given to you so you buy all the rest to keep it matching and together.
Went on one abit there sorry, those tyres do look fantastic. they can have all my gifts back for a set of those. well done senna94
