well, after the McLaren build its fair to say that I've been bitten by the bug so I thought I'd post a photo of my next project... I thought I'd go for a motorcycle just to mix it up a little and after a good wash in warm soapy water,(see, I have learnt something ) its ready for the paint..I'll keep you posted on the progress McLaren MP4/23 Ducati 998

just a few snaps of the build so far...I got a little patriotic with the colour scheme I thought I'd think 'out of the box' well, even you had to start somewhere Spence [imghttp://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p581/angellis2/021_zps230cbfa7.jpg][/img] Unfortunately its a 'hand paint' job I'm going to have to get an airbrush soon McLaren MP4/23 Ducati 998

the Hayabusa is an awesome bike of that there is no doubt I need something like youre doing and stick to the original design I got slightly carried away with the 'Cornish' theme of black and gold for this one but in future I'll stick to the plan its just hard to find something that 'hits the spot' like the McLaren did keep up the good work Nem, I'll be interested in the outcome of your build thanks for the comment Trev appreciated McLaren MP4/23 Ducati 998

I am in need of a little help the screw holding the handlebars and the forks together has rounded off slightly and so now Im finding it hard to get out shown here another shot the brass tube is incasing the screw the tubing on the front of the frame became unstuck and the forks just came out now, do I prise open the frame hoping it wont disturb too much of the build or persist in trying some way of removing the screw, and starting over? any help would be appreciated thankyou McLaren MP4/23 Ducati 998

Build is looking good!! If that was me, I would try and prise the frame apart slightly to get the tube back in.
