Not certain how one uses the blog, but ill give it a go. I'm Bob a retired aero engineer, my modelling experience goes back to my junior years in boarding school when I started up a modelling club, I haven't stopped since. I mainly build radio controlled aircraft to scale, up to the 1920s. I have built 3 full size replicas for the Virginia Air and Space Centre in Hampton Rhodes, Norfolk, Virginia USA. A 1903 wright Flyer a Curtis JN4 Jenny and a B24 Liberator Bomber... On the small scale I have Built an orrery and a Sun moon orbiter by Eaglemoss, and the Mclarren formula 1 from dagostini, now working on the suit of armour. So there you have it... Thanks for reading, if you did. Bob.

It seems you too are into RC Aircraft. All mine are built to order, in the process of building an electric Lancaster at the moment. And have a Morane solnier ready to electrify, Quarter scale. I collect Japanese Katana, so the Armour is a natural progression, Shame there is no half size Katana to go with it.. Im 4 months in at the moment. just completed stage 16.. Bob.

I can only list some of the stuff I have done in the past,Most if not all the boats Ive built were built for one collector in Portsmouth. the 3 main builds were
Viking longship Oseberg
Schooner Bluenose, a very large model.
Yacht Dragon.
there have been others but I cant recall their names.
In 2002 I built 3 1903 Wright Flyers
1/6 scale
.75 scale
1-1 scale. A B24 Liberator Bomber 1-1 scale and a Curtis JN4 Jenny again full size. During my modelling career I have build numerous RC aircraft, some I am still in possession of and fly. I collect Katana of which I have 3 and the matching short blades that go with them..
