With post office being a disaster, I believe Jacklin may be going the courier route. Might put the price up but least we might get a better service. Hi Jors, that is one of the reasons that a lot of guys went the subscription route. I think that I mentioned the non-supply by news agents in one of my previous posts. Good luck with your search. Maybe try E-Bay. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

So after following up with Jacklin yesterday, they said that the post office says the strike is over, and they are sending books via mail again. But the post office has such a huge backlog to catch up, hopefully I still get them this year

F1Fanatic, I received a courier package in the week with issues 11 - 18. It seems that Jors does not want #18 anymore and as you are in the same town as myself, you can collect what you want. I am a bit worried about my next posting which has the radio etc. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Hi Andre,
I finally received issues 14 - 17 on Saturday via the post (unbelievable as that might sound). My only query now with them is that the fact that these issues are two months late, thus will I receive the next 4 and 4 this week...I am also awaiting my radio and fuel bottle still, so lets hope for the best...

Jors: I am glad that you have been sorted out and you now have all your issues. Right, received posting number 6 today so I am up to issue 22. Got the radio, but I noticed it came without a bind plug. Luckily I do have a plug from some of my other radios but they easy to make. I will get there later on in the build. I might just test the radio in my PT boat. I am a bit lazy about posting photos on the build site but I will get there. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Hmm, I have just had a look. It seems that you do not need a binding plug. Will keep you all updated. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Went to fetch issues 23-26 today at the post office Now I will start on the shocks. I will make a stand to hold them upright for the filling etc. Possibly use a syringe and needle to fill them up with oil. More precise and less mess It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Hi Dux, I really feel for you. I have dealt with Jacklin before and they always were willing to help. Just remember, there was a postal strike and a lot of issues were not delivered. I think that I was lucky, one posting of issues came via courier at their expense. Just tell them what issues you are expecting and ask them if a plan can be made. Are you paying by debit order?
