I probably wont be starting it until next year.I have to build a trestle bridge for the Jupiter train and then some Star Wars kits for my cousins for Christmas. Sorry to hear you shelved the Shelby.I would bet we all have kits like that that were just not going the way we wanted.I know I have a few. Carl

The tender is finished.I applied the decals that Gil sent me over a very frustrating 2 hours. These decals are AWFUL. Anyway I added the details parts and collected some sticks from outside to fill the tender. The Jupiter was a wood fired train. I placed the tender, boxcar and caboose together. It really is getting long now. The next step is to finish the engine and then it is on to the trestle bridge. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Thanks everyone as usual.Very kind words So now back to the engine.I started adding the interior detail.I added some thin wire to the gauges based on a video I found of the interior of the Jupiter cab.I just need to add the windows and the external metal detail parts and then I can add the cab to the engine chassis. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Looking great Carl The interior of the Cab is Very Detailed and it seemed a shame that it would be largely hidden once completed so I modified mine. I added some edging to the roof to give a neater finish. It is a tight fit so I was able to leave it insitu without glue so I can remove it to display the interior The two pipes from the dome to the roof are not glued in place and can easily be turned aside to allow the roof to be removed, but are tight enough to stay in place on the roof. Also the side windows can be slid opened and closed I know you are going to display your Jupiter on a trestle and I look forward to seeing the finished Model. Adding the final details to the engine.Adding the bells and whistles-Literally!! I did have a disaster doing this. The train is getting quite heavy and tricky to hold and I dropped it .It did some damage, but I managed to patch it up OK.So Frustrating. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

The engine is FINISHED. here are a few photos. Now the voting period is open I will be posting some better photos in the next couple of days. The final part of the build is the trestle bridge. Hopefully I will be able to finish it before the end of the voting period. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Well done Carl I bet like me there where times when you thought "Why did I start this" but the end result makes it all worthwhile The trestle should be "easy" after the engine build Have decided on my next build The Red Bull RB7. Have ordered the complete kit so am waiting for a large parcel to arrive. This as you know is RC and what I liked about this kit is you get two body shells. Thats one for show and one to crash Hopefully no transfers on this kit Once again well done on a Fab piece of work Current Build:- [color=blue]Stash Avro Lancaster (Full Kit)plus some extra issues I picked up at a good price [color=blue]Built:- Norman Catapult by Mantua,Roman Catapult by Mantua,HMS Victory,HMS Victory XSection,Focker DB1,Bismark,English Carronade Titanic Lifeboat,American Civil War Gatling,Hummer,Sopwith Camel F1,Occre Jupiter ,OcCre Wagon, Latina Arab Dhow, Eaglemass Orrery OcCre Rogers 119 [color=red][color=red]RB7,OcCre Missippi River Boat, Model Airways Fokker DR1 OcCre London L>C>C 106 Ugears Scrambler, Ugears Hexapod Explorer UGears Off-Road Vehicle
