ISSUE 8

Hi everyone got up bright and early this morning and purchased the above from Dave the newsagent.

The build is a great starter for begginers in my humble opinion, you just need to follow some simple rules:-

1) please build on a Dry Dock board with a centre line down the board.
2) cut the parts out with a sharp knife from both sides.
3) number the parts
4) trim and sand the parts carefully and dry fit before you glue.
5) I have found providing you have laid down the Hull bases straight and true, the model will square itself up (particularly Issue 8)
6) keep a set square handy just for checking.
7) prepare yourself for the fact THIS IS A BIG MODEL SHIP.

This is what I received today:-

The next stage is to trim and sand the parts, and dry fit them:-

Then I started to glue in place, where you can use a clamp, it is better to do so for increased adhesion and rigidity:-
