Thanks Derek/Gray, appreciate your support.... @Gray - yup, this is my very first venture into the world of plastic. A lot more challenging than I envisaged but have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience.... Lots learned and lots still to learn..... Regards Alan

That little mini-boat is amazing! It should be displayed all on its own.

That is just amazing. The level of detail is breathtaking. The way this is going, it’s more like you get the plastic parts to go with the PE kit. Excellent work Alan. Mark

Thanks guys for all the positive comments, appreciated as always.... Continued with the etch work on the ships boats, completing the four transportation boats, three motor yawls, the admirals boat, two row cutters and a 1st class row yawl. These were fiddly little blighters but thankfully now they're done and ready for painting prior to final assembly. My next task is to start applying Mr Metal Primer to all of the etch work done so far, then I can get some priming done.... Until next time, happy modelling.... Looking well Alan. Those certainly look fiddly. I have just done them on Tirpitz albeit not as detailed as these. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Thanks Malc, appreciate the support.... Weather improved enough to enable some priming to be done, even managed to prime the hull ready for painting. So far, quite happy with how things are going and hopefully can now continue to get the hull painted up..... Happy modelling all.... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):
