Not had a look for a while. You are certainly steaming head, and all credit she is looking a fine build.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a fantastic xmas....Cool Cool..

Now that the first part of the festivities are over means I could get back to some serious stuff like moving on with the build.... Started work on Part 68 the fitting of the upper quarterdeck.... First took the side panels and these needed a very slight bend in them which was done gently using steam from the kettle. Lined the inner walls in the same manner as I have done all the inner bullworks.. When dry, set about fitting them to the upper quarterdeck area. Dry fitted the upper quarterdeck which needed very minimal adjustment. From there marked out the deck ready for the planking stage. Have cut a number of planks ready for the task and they have already had 2 coats of light oak stain...Blink Blink .. Tomorrow will get onto painting the outer sides black, planking the deck and finally fitting....Blink Blink .. Hopefully will update tomorrow again....

Happy building all..

Regards

Alan

Finished issue 68 with the final fitting of the upper quarterdeck with exception of giving the deck a coat of clear matt varnish... Cool Cool .. Everything fitted together very well with little alterations needed.... Build on hold now until issue 69 arrives, xmas deliveries a little disrupted by hopefully it will turn up soon.... Cool Cool .. Happy building all...

Alan
