Cheers Walter. I will stop for a while before moving on to stage 63 as I have the engine off at the moment due to an issue with a gap between the intercooler pipes and the plenum. Which Spencer is looking into at the moment. So hoping to get an answer before I move on which will require putting the engine back on. This is the gap problem I had. So I removed the pipes and re glued them with the engine in situ and had the gap at the bottom which would be covered up by the engine mount plates. Senna mclaren mp4/4 build complete mp4/4 build http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=12029

After gluing the manifolds I decided to put the intake pipes on to help position the turbo on the manifold while it was being glued. I left them there until the glue was dry. Senna mclaren mp4/4 build complete mp4/4 build http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=12029

Cheers Alan. Stage 64 and pack 18 finished now. Waiting for pack 19 Turbo oil lines Also while the engine was off I used the opportunity to sort out the repositioned gaps on the intercooler pipes by using some aluminium tape. You did a top job of hiding that gap, if anything, it's added a little bit of extra detail Building the MP4/4!

Thanks for your comments everyone. The trouble with moving that gap to the bottom of the pipes it makes removing the engine quite tricky as its tighter now with the intercooler pipes being higher up and the turbos attached at the bottom. Not looking forward to putting it back although thankfully it will be for the last time when I get the final pack next month.
