Lovely work Alan, could easily pass for a full size boat sitting in a boat builders' shed!
Very nice indeed, well done.

The finish line is now very much in sight... Continued with marking out the water line and to start the painting of the lower hull.. Gave everything a fine sanding down, masked and covered everything above the water line. At this point I applied a coat of matt varnish along the edge of the masking tape, the last thing I wanted to see was any paint bleed under the tape..... Once happy I then spayed the lower hull with two coats of primer, sanding down again between coats. This was left to dry for 24 hrs, gave it another fine sanding before applying 2 coats of top coat, an off white was used and again a light sanding was given between coats.... Left to dry and harden fully before moving onto gluing into place all of the fixtures that were previously made up. Finally the rudder was fitted.... .. Only thing left now is to make up the 16 oars and the build stand. These are all made from scratch, nothing is prefabricated and each oar consists of 5 separate elements. Will cover the construction in the next update... .. Until next time, happy modelling..... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Thanks John, appreciated..... Agree with you but this is being done as an OOB build, very little painting of the kit apart from the lower hull.... .. Regards Alan
