Issue 130 Here we fit the gun rotation motor to the main gun and start on the main deck handrail first 4 sections, at this point the cat attacked it and ripped the forward handrail off twisting it through full 180 degrees I managed to repair it and get it back on, finally few shots where we at, weathering one side the hull with salt stains dirt and rust. Hi Kev and Tony thanks for your comments much appreciated, yes seen the display stand and remote for this 44 buttons I counted on the remote and glad the battery's and sound are all built into the stand, also noticed the 32 steps on rigging to that going to be fun.only 10 issues to the end now. cheers mick. Hi all builders, I am now up to part 138 and have found a couple of potential problems one of which I hope has been resolved. The first problem was the touch switch which worked fine when not assembled but when in place it refused to react. My skin is tough so might be the cause, Hachette are sending a replacement and think the switch is faulty. The second point is that we have 4 cables going from the support to the Bismarck, two black wires and two red. The readings I get from the terminals suggests that all is not well but we lack information on what to expect. Can somebody who has reached this stage and has a working model please measure the voltages and publish them, it would be a useful trouble shooter. Many thanks Tony.

Hi Mick, There's a small circuit board that fits in the support that contains the speaker, it takes power from the batteries that are housed in the other support and supplies two pairs of feeds to the model, ie two black wires and two red. All my other electrics in the model itself are fine. The support itself is a bit flimsy for the weight of the model, I think they could have done a better job of it.

BTW The only voltage I am getting is on one red wire and is Minus 6.5v hence my concern.as it supplies power to all the units in the model.Hopefully when I get the replacement power touch switch it will include the circuit board as well.

Issue 132 Alot to do in this one starting with the anchor chain guide a few details around the fourth main gun barbette then the stern flag staff and light, more railing and the 2 quadruple aa guns you will need to remove the guns fitted in issue 106 as these are in the wrong place and glue them in platform below and fit the quadruple on the top platform. Then 2 aa guns on the funnel platform, then build up the second plane. Issue 133 Here we get another circuit board to fit under the rear deck then connect everything up and do a full electrics test on everything mine all worked as should, then just 2 more bits of handrail to fit. Issue 134 First of all we assemble the 2 cranes, then assemble and fit the 4 booms and the propeller protection, then glue in the safety rails there are 20 of these to glue in behind the main handrail. Then glue in 6 more bits of main handrail, then bend up and fit the catapult platforms, then fit the catapults in we got in issue 4. Then bend and fit the catapult cover, they do glue the 2 planes in now but I'm leaving mine till the rigging is done in last issue as they are rather vulnerable at the moment.
