UPDATE:SPITFIRE PACK:14. Engine top cover. Pack 14 Contains parts to build the top cover for the engine compartment, I found that it was of basic construction, the only bit to watch was, keep checking that you have the correct alignment with the engine compartment this means lay it over a few times to see were you are and adjust. If you look at the pictures you can see that I built my top cover in place. Cut out fret. Replace fret sand smooth and mark up formers. This is what is needed to make top cover Clip side laterals in place ready for top formers. Place and glue formers watch former G if the glue runs down it will stick to the main engine compartment. A few more clips will help. Sand all over. Engine top cover removed. This is my way of building the top cover which I had no difficulty. Thanks for looking Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

Hi Jase, Thanks for looking in, I will be starting on the leading edge soon that's the metal parts, just hope that they will fit my build just thinking about what type of glue to use as it is metal to wood, that's the last bits you don't want to fall off as they form part of the metal sheets.
