Well, found out today that issue 83 was received by my newsagents but unfortunately was not put to one side and has gone.... not a happy chappy so now have to decide whether to wait for the newsagent to re-order or to go the subscription route.... either way, I may have quite a wait before I get it..... .. Looks like concentration on the Titanic will be my priority for a good while..... Rather annoyed to say the least...... Regards Alan

Hi Alan, that is annoying - I can't believe that anyone would coincidentally walk into a newsagent and buy issue 83 unless you mean the newsagent returned it? It's bad luck all the same though, I guess you will have to start a sub from this issue onwards. Steve

Steve Thanks Stevie but that's exactly what it looks like... can only think someone has bought it out of curiosity..... Either way I go it looks as if it could be a long wait before issue 83 finally turns up.... .. Newsagent knew exactly how I felt about this and they say they will do what they can to put it right..... Regards Alan

Regards Claret Thanks Claret, am happy my issues finally turned up.... This was nothing to do with supply issues, this had to do with my newsagent failing to pay attention to order details... still at least I can move on now.... Regards Alan

Hi everyone, happy to say am now back on the build.... Started by painting wooden strips gold and have finished putting together the remaining 4 figures, gave them a coat of primer followed by 2 coats of gold... tomorrow they will get a couple of coats of clear gloss varnish.... That concludes all the parts for the figurehead.... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Hi Alan Great work as usual, well done! Seeing the figures without something to reference the size let you sometimes forget how minute they actually are! Regards Kobus

Hi all, this evening I finished issue 83 with the painting and fitting of the cornice's. As I was painting the edges of the rails I decided to continue that along the railing edge of the bulkheads... for me it looks much better.... .. Tomorrow will make a start on issue 84 even though 85 should be with the newsagents... fingers crossed.... .. More soon.... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):
