Thanks for looking in and the positive feedback guys it's much appreciated, the latest effort has been focused on the Carronades, firstly it was building out the posts to take some eyebolts, secondly it was scratch building the carriages for the Carronades as the metal for the original carriages were to thin to drill through to take some eyebolts, the carriages were too low for my forecastle gunwhales so they were built up with cocktail sticks underneath and very small blocks of wood on top so that they just about sit above the curved opening. I decided to rig the forecastle guns as ready for action to move into position at a moments notice, this concludes all of the fully rigged guns on my ship, the only other bit of gun rigging will probably be just the breech ropes on the guns on the third deck that can be seen through the quarter deck Gibbo attached the following image(s): Building: DelPrado HMS Victory. Chris, Graeme, Alan, Mark & Martyn, thank you for looking in and those kind words, the guns to be mounted on carriages for the third deck have been painted and breech bolts & ropes attached, because i mounted two guns on the forecastle and one carriage has been mislayed over the years, i dipped into the Heller kit for three guns and carriages, these are made up of seven bits of plastic each and really tricky to put together,(that kit says build 102 cannons = 712 tiny bits of plastic just for the guns, that would have driven me bananas) these are the three on the left with slightly bigger guns and wheels, these were hidden in the spaces that you really cant see.
