Hi Ian, can't blame you for taking a break from copper tiling, apply 4000 of them is likely to drive anyone to sleep after a while... Nice work, everything is coming along very nicely.... Keep posting and I'll keep looking in... Regards Alan

Hi Ian Nice work on the cutters. It's good to see some pics as I got mine from Mike as well and haven't got round to building them yet myself and was wondering what they would look like, although I was convinced they would be superb anyway, but your pics have exceeded my expectations. Are the entry canopies Mike's as well? Hoping to get a pair of those myself for my cross-section build. Thanks for posting those pics and happy building David

Hi David. Yes the door canopy's where from Mike. They are good quality castings and are four pieces' with the crowns on the back wall. They are just a few mm bigger than the diag supplied ones. The cutters are a straight forward build following the instructions that came with them. I really liked the grapple hook and the boat hooks that came with them. Thanks for looking David. Hi guys. I decided to extend the wooden decks from the doorways to past the gun cutaway. Using 1mm x3mm walnut planking strips I had. I will fill in the last strips when the ribs are cut off at later date. Ian Current builds.Hachettes build the bismark,HMS Victory, HMS Hood. Finished Builds Corel HMS Victory cross section.

Hi Ian, looking good, keep the pics coming. With regard to the decking in the cut away - I think there is a slide in section later in the build that is pre planked before insertion, Im wondering if the deck you have laid will interfere with this cut away insertion, if you scroll to the end of the official build (issue 115-120) then you will see what im on about Cheers Steve
