Painted; The anchor, Oars and bucket.

Not real happy re bucket. Had job trying to glue handle as well as the painting. It will have to do for now. Will tidy up later once dry.Blink

Have repainted interior of launch as now have Maroon/Burgundy paint. Will do outside strip when I have tape to get straight line. Wet at moment shoul;d dry a little less glossy. BigGrin

Lovely work George and yes the bucket is a little bit fiddly to work with because of its size... Me, I use a good pair of optivisors for this kind of work, eyesight is not what it used to be.. I also have very fine paint brushes where I have trimmed the brush hairs down to where it looks as if some of my brushes have no bristles at all, just a few. I also decided the bucket handle looked to big for the scale so swapped it out and replaced it with some thin rigging line, feel in those days bucket handles were made of rope anyway....Cool Cool .. Hope this helps so keep posting and I'll keep following....

Hi George,

I know what you mean about the bucket. I finished up using rope handles as described by Alan on the Endeavour and it worked ok. Love the oars and great work all round BigGrin .

Hi Steve. BigGrin

Your comments give me encouragement and are appreciated, thanks. Cool Cool

Launch certainly not as good as I would like but maybe investment of optivisor would be the way to go, BigGrin

Hi Alan. BigGrin

Your comments very much appreciated as always. Cool Cool

I will be taking up your suggestion of purchase of an optivisor as the fine work is more than my eyes and hands can do currently if I'm to be entirely happy with the results.BigGrin

I'd like the finishes to be better than OK. BigGrin
