As long as it's a 2 channel radio you should be fine. It really depends on how much money you would be willing to spend. Brands like Fly Sky and Absima have radios which have most of the adjustments that a "pro Racer" would use for only $70-$90 AUD. Brands like Futaba or Spektrum also have quite affordable radios as well as the high end stuff.

Just want to use the RB7 once it is finished. http://hobbytech.co.za/i...9-flysky-gt2b-new-style

Yeah that Fly Sky GT2B will do everything you want. I was talking to my brother, he knows loads about anything RC, anyway he mentioned that the Fly Sky Radios have a copied version of the Spektrum software, which means they choose the same frequency combinations in the same order. So there is the chance that there could be clashes and run away models between Spektrum and Fly Sky radios. That might not be an issue for yourself though, just something to keep in mind. My brother also mentioned that the RadioLink RC3S is a good radio for around $70.00 AUD

I was thinking to plastidip my RB7 matt black once it's complete, I want something different. Maybe hydrodip the parts itself with carbon fiber... Saw it on another thread. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough. RSA Building RB7

Bah. I am still stuck at 32, jacklin's service is horrible. Apparently still waiting on stock for 33. At this rate my build will be done by 2018 it seems Wish I can just buy these issues directly from overseas as Jacklin refuses to use courier instead of post.

I feel sorry for you Chris. I got issues 43 - 46 on Friday but have done no building for quite a while. I have been busy with radio antenna's after a direct lightning strike on my mast. It even caused my RH arm to go a bit lame for a while. Luckily the radios where disconnected. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

I also wanted to cancel my subscription but I think we all need to take it slow and just stick it out. I do not think its Jacklin, after I received conformation of my tracking number in April the post office was the useless lot. I sent Jacklin a email on monday and my lost issues was received the following day after threatening to cancel my subscription. It seems Jacklin really try to keep us all happy but with the useless lot at the post office its not possible. Happy building cheers I don't have a subscription... can kick my own butt for not going that route. I get my issues weekly from CNA. Haven't really had a issue with them yet, just one week RNA didn't deliver the books to CNA. Hi and welcome to the forum. Remember the free gifts if you subscribe From South Africa Building- RB7

Seems they can't keep up, they should have made sure they can. If I don't get a issue for some reason... I would be . Cause for that one missing issue, your car won't be complete!! So up to which issue is everyone now? Just spoke to Jacklin, getting issue 33-36 next week (hopefully) and then they can send me a next batch up to issue 48 (37-48). hopefully I should then be able to catch up a bit after the delays caused by our wonderful ( ) post office...
