Thanks for looking in guys much appreciated, the PE ships wheel stanchion was cut down painted and attached and then the binnacle was attached to the deck, then it was onto the waist rail, the posts came from the PE set and the holes were drilled out to make them slightly bigger, the skid beams haven't been attached yet as i haven't decided yet if i'm going to have some crew down there, also the side entry ports from the original kit have been painted and attached. Well this has been a long time coming, i'm back working on the 'ol girl, i have been working on my gun crews, first they were painted and then i cut down the platforms they were sitting on, i tried various methods and some of the feet came off with the platforms so i ended up cutting them down as far as i could with some sharp small pliers, then painted the bases as far as i could the same colour as the deck, i still have to touch up the boots with some black and a very fine brush, then they will get stuck underneath the Skid Beams, the crew with no feet will be placed coming up and down companionways so hopefully they wont be noticeable.
Hi Tom If you want the 1/84 scale try here https://www.woodysmodelworks.co.uk/victory.html#/
You will have to be quick and very lucky now. The website states that they have discontinued HMS Victory parts and just selling off their remaining stock. It's a shame because I've had a few bits and pieces from them and it was all good quality.
