Jase, I sent you a PM. I was hoping your detail packs are still available?

As i mentioned, I'm a little late to the party here with my victory build! Bissett mags' payment system here in Australia couldnt handle me ordering 70+ back issues to catch up to current subscribers In one hit so they had to split the order up into multiple parts lol.

I've just received all the back issues though and have started the build. (this is my first ever ship build). I was hoping to grab your detail packs as I want to try and keep the detailing as close as possible to the real thing! :)

I got the chance to see the victory when I was in the uk last year, but unfortunately didnt have the time to go aboard! :(
Give quiche a chance!

Update on the detail packs.

I will be going to Portsmouth again in 2 weeks time. I plan to take some more pics of things I perhaps did not capture so well last time. This might lead to an additional pack of pictures.

I will be making these available to members who contribute, you do not have to have a Victory build or build Diary but you do have to be on the forum and contributing.

so don't join and think you can get your hands on a pack you will be wasting your time.

Happy Modeling

Look forward to seeing some more of your pics. I think from some accounts I have read that she may be undergoing some major work right now, there is no rigging or topmasts, the upper deck is being weatherproofed and the planking is also being investigated.
The historic dockyard website also says things may be a little noisy on board for the next couple of weeksBigGrin
But..there is also an opportunity to get some unique pics, under the deck, planks etc- you never know!

The following 2 dates are to be avoided though if you planning on the National museum -

Friday 23rd May 2014 - Nelson Gallery closed all day and Victory Gallery closed at 4:30pm.
Thursday 26th June 2014 - All galleries closed with the exception of the Victory Gallery.

Hi Jase,

I have just ordered the victory and this will be my first build.
Would it be possible to have a copy of the pictures you took?

Just a reminder that my detail packs are always available to anybody who wants them. you don't have to be building the Deag Victory but you do have to be contributing to the forum in some way.

Please do not join the forum just to get my packs - you won't get themBigGrin

I have had a number of requests for my detail packs from new members and just wanted to make it clear what you need to do if you would like them

Process
1. Packs are always available for anybody that wants them at any time
2. To request the packs send me a PM - i do not need your email address
3. I will reply with a link to the packs for you to download.

To Qualify for packs

All I ask is that you are contributing to the forum in some way either have a build diary or that you post on the forum. These are my packs and i issue them at my discretion.

Note: if you join the forum and ask for packs I will know the date you joined and how many posts you have made.

If you ask for packs and have not posted then after 3 months of not posting I will inform the FST and request your removal.
