Hi All More done on the stern and added the brass bow staff, still more to add at the bow but will finish the stern area first. The guns have been painted and the central 20mm is now fixed in place the 37mm is just placed in position until the deck is painted. All the hatches and central gun rails are now in position and I also scratch built the rear navigation light out of styrene that is mounted by the hatch shield. I still need to add the smoke generators torpedoes and the depth charge/mine racks and thats the stern done. Also started to add the railings to the rear hull, I already have the canvas to make the side rail covers so those to do too. Thanks for looking in and your comments everyone very much appreciated. Sorry Dave no figures on this as 1/24 scale figures for a schnellboot crew are rarer than hens teeth. Here's a couple more pics with the first coat of deck grey on the hull with the smoke generators fitted the second from last hatch has been sealed and had its first coat of white but now it gives a good idea of the final look of the boat.
