The guy on ebay has probably added another tenner on.

Hi Andy, unfortunately CMK don't produce 1/48 scale parts only the 1/72 scale. Believe you me I trawled all over their site looking for the elusive 1/48 scale.

I hope you're all well and enjoying the lighter evenings now spring is here?

On this part of my U-boat build I will be looking at the part-works supplied rivet strips that were fitted to the stern.

I used the same method for fixing them in place as I did for the bow; carefully file away burrs left when the strips were separated from the fret, sanding the underside with 100 grit sandpaper to provide a key for the adhesive, applying PVA glue to the underside which gave me time to adjust them on the hull as per the part-works instructions before it started to go off, taping them to ensure they didn't move while the adhesive dried overnight and finally, removing the tape and running a bead of superglue around all edges to provide a robust bond so that they wouldn't move whilst handling.

The attached image shows the port side of the stern.
