Thanks Castos! I'm not going to bore you guys with daily photos of the progress on the tiles, but here is the tiling of the keel on the Starboard side up to the stem. From what I've seen, the tiling on the keel going to be quite time-consuming, as you only get to lay 1 layer of full tiles on each side. The lowest level has to be trimmed down, and the 2 rows of tiles fitted to the bottom of the keel also must be trimmed. Lots of work for little coverage.

Hi Andy and Ian, Things are progressing very slowly, I've been otherwise occupied and haven't touched the Victory for almost 3 weeks!

It's been about 4 weeks since I've last laid a hand on her, but here are 2 pics of my progress over the last 2 evenings: Tiling the starboard side keel: Laying down a couple of rows of tiles on the starboard side I've had no luck with cutting the tiles with a knife, so I'm using scissors.

Thanks Gentlemen! @Ian: I'm swapping between superglue gel, and this silicone type glue @ Bameraam: Thanks so much - it was a bit of a job getting them "Right" - quite a bit of overpainting, re-masking, touching up and repeat. I would have preferred a fold-out plan as per the masts, but I suppose one has to make do with what's provided. @ Peter: Thanks! I've tested the glue and it seems to hold quite well, but with enough force, the tiles do come off. Finished off the starboard stem over the weekend. I'm quite pleased - it feels like I'm getting the hang of working with the copper tiles. The tiling of the Port-side stem is almost complete, the little triangle gaps must be filled with off-cuts and then all needs to be sanded flush. I've also laid down a couple more rows on the starboard side.

Coming along nicely! The tiling gets a bit tedious at times, but the end result is all that counts. Keep going the way you are, and all will be well. Steve..
