 Hi All This months construction is now all done, well the major platforms have been added ,there are still some machine guns, binoculars to be added but at a later date as right now there just bits to knock off and lose. The upper platform needed the most fetteling to get to fit correctly the others more or less fitted from the pack apart from the removal/ rebating of the braces on the undersides so they slid into there correct positions. Looking great Andy... Had to look twice at your pics.... thought you were trying to introduce some battle damage there with the pealing and warping of the deck's until I realised it was masking tape...  .... well done.... keep posting... Regards Alan

Hi Andy! I think that your building is going well and it is the same as another Akagi of 1/700. I guess you make this hanger deck be just put but not glued, because you still have to attach the anchor chains and other parts under this module. An order of an assembly is especially important to make such kit. Please be careful to the position of seven supports of the hanger deck. DeAGOSTINI Japan showed us wrong position of these supports. Hi Yaturo Thanks for looking in and yes your right the hangar isn't glued down just yet as there is still quite a bit to do in this area as you say. Hi All finally got back to the Akagi build only 2 months behind now  but as its mostly top decks to make up it wont take long to catch up.
