This is what my build dairy has descended into: a never-ending array of pictures of little copper bits! 10 rows of tiles laid down on the starboard side: After the 4th row of tiles on the stern, I'm going to be needing some stealers The 10th row at the bow. Not too long before they'll be meeting the waterline

Nice job with the tiles. don't forget to put some stealers in at around the 8/9th row. You will know when to do them as the line of tiles wants to run away from the preceeding one. Steve..

just as an added help but i would try to even up the layers for both sides, just that the shrinking of the glue as it dries when fixing the tiles might slightly warp the hull, and as your putting such good work into her i would not want this happen so far down the line. Hope i have not offended you with this surgestion its just an observation. keep up the great work your doing. Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise. Completed builds: Revell London Bus 1/24. Builds to do:Sovereign of the seas, Hms Albion.

Thanks lads! All your comments are greatly appreciated. (Petpole: With the tiles being discrete elements, I don't think that any warping will take place, but thanks for raising the point to ponder ) I've continued the tiling on the starboard bow until it met the waterline: Marking the size of one of the filler pieces that is required. All the gaps against the keel and some against the waterline filled Continuing to tile the Starboard bow

Hi stefan great job.I have seen a lot of people gluing a row of tiles running along the waterline?i know this is how deagostini told people how to tile but is it right?Unless I've done it wrong! I found it Easyier to continue tiling to the waterline especially around the stern end.I know there was a lot of cutting the tiles a different angles but you have to do that anyway.have a peep at my build,I think it make's it look a bit neater. I might have done it completly wrong anyway. Superb job you are doing though.

Nice job with the tiles! I too followed the Deagostini recommendation for fixing the tiles, as our shipmate Benten mentions tiles without a border look neater. However I have seen both methods used by lots of builders and as long as the tiles go on in straight lines my personal opinion is do which ever makes you feel most comfortable with. It's a long slow haul but the final appearance makes it worthwhile. All the best, Steve..
