Hi Andy! Thank you for a comment. The instruction of this etching kit is not friendly for me. I have to attach the parts with the aid of only the several pictures on it. They may think such a process is also fun for the modelers. Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi All! This is my 9th diary of HIRYU. We had three holydays on last weekend. I could make a progress of HIRYU building. I attached almost residual parts on the both sides of the hull. Some small parts which were guessed to be easyly damaged and lost were attached on the last stage of this building.(No.1,2) Flight deck was glued, and decals were attached. Dry decals were attached on wooden area of the flight deck.(No.3,4) Next, the bridge, safety nets and others were attached on the deck. (No.5,6,7) Although I have to locate aircrafts on the ship, I fixed it on the sea-surface-plate. Before fixing, I took some pictures of HIRYU.(No.8,9,10) The parts of the aircrafts were painted.(No.11) Best Regards. Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hasegawa Co. 1/350 Battle ship NGATO, 1/350 Aircraft carrier Akagi, Battle ship MIKASA. Hi All! I posted the last diary of HIRYU building. Residual work was to assemble the aircrafts. This kit has 9 aircrafts. They are 3 Zeros,3 Vals and 3 Kates. The kind of the aircrafts is the same as the DeAGOSTINI Akagi's kit. (No.1,2) I attach antenna on each aircrafts as a small enhancement.(No.3) 9 aircrafts were located on the flight deck and the model reached goal. After making the ship waves on the sea-surface -plate, I finished the building. (No.4-7) The model will leave for a client within several weeks. I close this diary here. Thank you very much for following the diary. Best Regards, Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI.
