Well done on a brilliant start to your model.

Deciding if you do or if you don't is exactly what modelling a bout and however you choose to finish your model will give you something very unique to you.

Hope the rest of your build goes well.

Happy modelling

Tony

Thanks for the kind comments Tony

Well, I finished Planking the Launch todayBigGrin !
It's not complete by any means, but since this launch is officially my first planking experience, I'd thought I'd share a few pictures and get your comments, good, bad or indifferent.
I think it came out OK, although it was trying at times.
All comments appreciated. Thanks for looking!
Best,
Barry

Looks good Barry.

Remember, the lightest of sanding otherwise you'll go through planks.

Having made a really good job on your launch your well on your to producing a stunning victory build.

I always saw the launch as a testing piece early on in the build as it appeared simple but was something that really needed some attention.

Once past that your on your way.

Enjoy the rest of your build.

Happy modelling

Tony

Thanks Tony!
I was thinking exactly the same thing. As easy at the launch seems, it really does need the attention it deserves.
As having never planked a hull before, the launch gave me the perfect opportunity to see what I have to look forward to when it comes to the Victory.

Very nice result with your launch.

You have managed a very neat transition between the colour banding (must get myself some better masking tape).

Enjoy the rest of your build
