Thanks for posting. Looking forward to future packs. Not much real build on this kit early on, just admiration of the quality parts.

Yes its a shame there's not much to do at this stage but unfortunately thats the nature with most partworks. Later on in the build there should be more to see as things come together.
Hope to see some pics when you start yours.

Ok its time for pack 6. The parts. An unwrapped view, i found that the switch had a smooth action but the ignition key flap was extremely stiff but after a few openings eased a lot. The clock from last month was added and the unit fitted to the tank Al Spal attached the following image(s):

Hi Al, I thought I would look in on your Fat Boy build, which I was going to have, but decided to go for the Honda first. I just wish I could afford both at the same time, but my pension won;t stretch that far, I'm afraid, as I am already subscribing to the Hatchette U96 U-Boat as well. But once that comes to the end, I might order the Harley. To compensate, I have just bought a Tamiya 1/6 scale Harley Davidson Super Glide kit, which looks pretty stunning, but just that bit smaller than these 1/4 scale models and obviously not all metal parts. Should make a nice model though. I will keep following both your builds and will be starting my own Honda build log as soon as I receive my first parts. Both your bike models are looking great. Geoff Built : Robbe 1/40 scale Type XX1 Radio Controled : Scratch built 1/48 scale Ton Class Minesweeper Radio Contolled : Caldercraft (Jotika) Bomb Vessel Grando display model. Building : Hachette Part Works U96. To Build : DeAgostini 1/4 Honda CB750 : Tamiya 1/6 Harley Davidson Super Glide : Tamiya 1/12 1967 Lotus 49 F1 Racing Car : Revel 1/24 Shelby Cobra : Revel 1/24 Ferrari 250 SP GTO

Thanks for commenting Geoff, you won't be disappointed with the Honda and the Harley is to the same standards of detail and quality as that and the Suzuki.I have several of the Tamiya large bikes but they don't compare to these 1/4 scale heavies.

Pack 9 What was in the box. The parts unpacked, the storage box may come in handy. Not much to be done but forks now attached to mudguard. Looking forward to next month when some engine assembly is needed. Al Spal attached the following image(s):

Pack 10 The contents of the box. The parts unwrapped, the front wheel is heavier than I expected. The chainguard attached to swingarm. The tyre fitted and the hubs attached, still undecided whether to pick out the tyre lettering or not. Cylinder halves joined together. Thanks for looking. Al Spal attached the following image(s):

Both the wheels are a good weight and with the engine and gearbox as it grows into a bigger lump. You really do need to see and feel the parts to realize the quality of them. Looking good. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Pack 11 What arrived in the box. A closer look, the frame is a large piece and the footboards are spring loaded. A look at the engine once the cylinders were sandwiched between the crankcase halves and the carburettor and horn added. A look at the other side,as you can see with the pound coin the engine is a large lump. Looking forward to next months halfway point. Al Spal attached the following image(s):
