Thanks Ian Today I removed Rib 1 & 2 to re-seat them. I started by taking the bowsprit deck that sticks to front of rib 1 at the top and rests on the false key. I planked this and stuck it in place making sure this was all sqaure. The reason I did this part first was because it would rest on the top of the false keel when rib 1 was inserted thus giving me the correct seating of rib 1. Sorry forgot to take a picture of that part, I then seated Rib 2 and placed the forcastle deck on to get the right position. This all worked perfectly so am back on track , just dry fitted here as a test. Next I planked the two halfs of the bow deck and attched, once the glue is dry I will sand. I havent decided if I will add the pencil treenails now or once the whole deck is done and then apply danish oil all at once. You will notice I didnt use the pencil technique to show the caulking, this is because I liked the effect of just the Danish oil that Stevie_o showed on his build Thats Stage 4 completed

Chris Thanks for stopping by and your comments Chris I have actully just noticed that I missed a plank on the bow deck, You can see the missing plank on picture 2, right at the bottom of the right Perhaps Andy or Steve can advise if that bit is visile when the other decks get added?

Thanks Andy, Steve and Martyn I did come close to throwing in the towel and saying wooden ship building isnt for me but then I realised that was too easy and that every model has its challenges.

Time for a small update Rib 7 attached and clamped up to make sure it is nice and square and forecastle deck support glued down. Dry fit of hidden deck, all looks good While waiting for the glue to dry I set about the long and slow task of cutting up another 100 deck planks, give or take. Final false keel added then Rib 8 As you can see I am doubly sure that it is at right angles, I also measured the distances between the tops of ribs 7 & 8 just to make sure While that was left to dry I made up the anchors from step one, I also made the 2 from step 48 as I had previsouly sorted all the parts out.

Hi Dave Nice work on the Trinny. I too have that work station and found it goes together well the only thing I changed was to discard that rubber tubing that sticks to nothing and replaced it with 15 mm pipe insulation sponge. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thanks for tip Andy, I was thinking what I could use instead of the rubber, I did manage to get it stuck down but it took some time to do so thin the pipe insulation will be easier Thanks for comment Jase, I purchased this build station back when I first subscribed to the Trinny off the back of several recommendations on here, I cant remember who exactly but Im sure you Andy and Steve were in that list, never thought to build it until now.
