Looks brill Steve. Never built a tank as my skills wouldnt do it justice. It would look shiny and new lol. You've done a great job so far. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

A small update, the T-70 is built Just the separate link tracks to do later. The pics below show the tank complete, then with primer / preshade followed by a base coat colour and then the winter whitewash. The whitewash will be removed in areas of high wear later. Next is decals and detail painting then the weathering stages can begin Steve stevie_o attached the following image(s):

Got the T-70 all but finished, just some tool wood to paint and then the dreaded indie link tracks Yes, it's very weathered but as my dio is to be eastern front December 42 then I very much doubt there would have been any option for maintenance during this period, not according to my reference pics anyway I was aiming for an effect of various layers of whitewash and used mainly brush application for this. Trying to devise the best way to do the tracks so I can paint the insides first, any ideas welcome Crew figures next Steve stevie_o attached the following image(s):

Beautiful work Steve, did you come up with a solution for painting the tracks?

That is some very skilful weathering you've done there Steve, did you use the hairspray method to achieve it or something else? However you did it, it looks great - keep up the good work, this is turning into another masterpiece from you.
