Dear All

We have been advised by Royal Mail that unfortunately like most carriers they do still have backlogs to clear from the buildup we had with the severe weather conditions, they are working to rectify this as soon as possible and will endeavour to keep us updated.

Thanks

Hi All,

Just to let you know Post Office are behind, A few of my friends work for them and they say they had to take on extra as back log from snow aswell as the Christmas rush of post. I posted a recorded delivery parcel and it took 8 days so thats the time scale we are in at the moment... Be patient they will get to you ...

Cheers Magpie, we are in the same boat up here aswell, my mate works on deliveries and they are working 12 hour shifts trying to clear the backlogSleep , he is shattered, working the last week and a half without time off. we will get there. anyway most people will be taking time off over christmas so we will hopefully have our delivery by then. especially if this snow comes back !!!!!

Arrived yesterday!LOL LOL LOL
I've worked out that it normally takes 8 days from dispatch date, if dispatched on a day with a 'Y' in it, add 2 days, any cock-ups or bad weather, add four day's, and add one day to collect from sorting office because you were in the garden/garage/kitchen when mr postie crept up and pushed one of them cards through the letterbox, the formula has worked for me so far!!!!
I hope we have all the issues by '2012' (armageddon), wonder how many days would need to be added for that?Confused

Have a very happy christmas every one!

Jeff

HI all
My victory parts have also not arrived yet but the cutty sark parts arrived last week so if they got here were are the victory issues.

Also, got the cutty sark parts but no instructions still, starting to get really fed up now.

I am also getting fed up, not only have my issues not arrived when they were allegedly posted on 3/12/10, which is now 14 days ago, but this morning i find they have taken the money for them.....good to see thats one function that can be performed on time!

Quick tip: It would help that next time the issues are sent out, it would help if they didn't use the pony express...think my stuff is in Arizona now!!
