BigGrin Hi Cris And Kev

Thanks for looking in and your comments all much appreciated from you both the face tones get easyer the more you do and practice them still have a problem with the eyes but im improving slowly with them, the eye painting guides I have read are a great help here but its practice that makes the improvements. Still awaiting your first bust or figure Kev and im sure there are plenty of people on the forum that would be interested in it.

Regards

Not sure if anyone might be interested but eyes are the main part of any figure paint.

If unsure you can buy human eye decals from the likes of historex.

http://www.historexagent...ata=Eye&x=0&y=0

No time to look now but i know there are some youtube videos on how to apply them.

Happy Modelling

Hello Andy, you're right I should get on and do some work on one of them!! Blushing BigGrin

It's really weird that you should mention this today though Andy as I was doing some more work on my P-38 Lightning earlier and it crossed my mind that although I have limited modelling time nowadays (too busy with other stuff), and I want to concentrate on my P-38 'Build of the Year' entry above all else at the moment, I would quite like to have a figure on the go as a stress reliever which is just a painting exercise with very little building to do? I think now that you have reminded me, I have decided that I will get going on the 1:9 WWII RAF Fighter Pilot figure from my Johnny Johnson tribute build (can't spend any more time on the 1:32 Tamiya Spitfire from that build at the moment, but I will get back to it when the P-38 is done), maybe even finish my Ivan N Kozhedub bust as well since that has already been started?

Thanks for the reminder Andy - watch this space!! Cool ThumpUp

nicely done Andy. Like the skin texture you have given him. I think painting figures and busts is the hardest painting task and this came out really nice.
